COFFEE mornings held at Kidderminster Library each Thursday have raised £1,500 for Kemp Hospice.

The mornings, which are held from 9.30am to 12.30pm on the top floor of Kidderminster Library, have been raising money for the hospice for the last year.

Volunteer Jenny Rowe said: "It’s a morning where all the people in the community can get together on a regular basis and support their local hospice.”

Kemp Hospice offers specialist care and support to patients, families and carers in Wyre Forest who are dealing with life-limiting illness and bereavement.

Hospice fundraiser Alice McMahon said: “We really want to thank the volunteers for all their commitment and hard work which makes the coffee morning such a success.

"We would also like to thank Kidderminster Library for their continued support of the hospice and also everyone who comes along to coffee morning and supports it.”
