KIDDERMINSTER and District Scouts helped swell the crowd at Aggborough on a special Scouting day.
More than 250 Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts, Scouts, leaders and parents attended the event at Kidderminster Harriers when the club beat Alfreton 3-1 on Saturday, February 23.
It was the second such occasion this season and again the Scout group provided three of the mascots for the day to lead out the teams.
Beavers, Cubs and Scouts also took part in three six-a-side matches to entertain the crowd under the guidance of football in the community officer Nick Griffiths.
One of the mascots, Cameron Hamilton, 6, who was attending the Harriers for the second time, said: “I had a great time, had my photo taken with Harry the Harrier and visited the dressing room before the match where the players signed our programmes.”
