The 42nd Pledged Plod held in Glorious Sunshine

607 members registered between 10.00hrs and 12.00hrs to walk the 5kms from the starting point at Rhydd Covert Campsite and Activity Centre, many of the younger ones were accompanied by relative's friends and the family dogs.

Thanks to the generosity of the West Midland Safari Park, car stickers were given to all walkers which enabled them to drive around the Safari Park animal enclosures.The Safari Park had 1400 people through the park scouting related.

Kidderminster & District Scout Commissioner Julie Goodyear said "A brilliant turnout and l would like to thank everyone all the young people and especially those that manned bases etc and made the event such a success".
