One of the most successful Scout groups in Kidderminster are looking to start a new Scout Troop on Wednesday evenings.
KD9 already have a Troop meeting on a Thursday evening but with over 20 youngsters already attending that meeting, Scout leaders have now put plans into place to start a second troop on Wednesday evenings.
The section will meet at Rhydd Covert and already has 7 new youngsters willing to attend from their waiting list Scout, Beaver and Cub numbers grew by over 10% last year on Spennells. Over 70 youngsters now enjoy weekly metings either on the Spennells estate or at Rhydd Covert.
During the past year Scouts and Cubs have taken part in many different events, camped under canvas at least 4 seperate times in each section and taken part in an International camp in Belgium during August.
