Halloween celebrations took place last night in the village of Cookley, the party was held at the local Scout Headquarters.
It's thought to be the one night of the year, when ghosts, witches and fairies are especially active, they came from everywhere, when they arrived they had to walk through the Grave Yard which was dark and creepy, you could see many head stone with leaders names on. Some young people arrived with craved pumpkins and asked is this the right place for the pumpkin competition, once inside they were lit. This event is not for the faint hearted.

There were Bats Spiders and a number of Black Cats around the place; it also featured a number of scare zones and other attractions being "Apple Ducking" "Trick or Treat" for the whole evening that kept the young people entertained.

The lights kept going on and off most of the evening due to a number of power cuts we think, and then suddenly the sound of music brought the place to life.

The other visitors who also arrived were Batman (ABSL) and Robin (ASL) and Wilma Flintstone (BSL).
