THIEVES broke into a car in Kidderminster and removed more than £3,000 worth of tools from inside.
It is believed the offenders used tin strips to damage the doors of the vehicle, parked in Cowper Walk, to gain entry.
Items stolen from inside included various hand tools valued at £1,200, a Bosch cordless drill valued at £200, a blue JVAC reclaim unit valued at £600, two sets of refrigeration and nitrocetylene gauges valued at £450, a JVAC oxyacetylene kit valued at £300, a yellow FLUKE electrical meter valued at £110, refrigeration benders valued at £250 and a small blue JAVAC vacuum pump valued at £260.
The incident took place between 10pm on Tuesday, August 11, and 6am on Wednesday, August 12.
