Envelope of cash stolen from woman's handbag in Kidderminster
AN ENVELOPE of cash was stolen from a woman’s handbag in Kidderminster.
The victim had visited a building society in the town where she drew out a quantity of cash on Wednesday, February 17.
The lady then walked to the HSBC bank, in Church Street, at around 9.55am, where she was approached by two males who offered to help her up the steps of the bank with her shopping trolley and opened the door into the bank for her.
As the lady approached the counter inside the bank, she realised her handbag was open and the envelope containing the cash she had withdrawn was missing.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident reference number 0158S of February 17.
