A HOMEOWNER was punched in the face after confronting an intruder outside their Kidderminster home.
The victim was asleep in bed at their home in Chapel Court, and heard footsteps outside the property on the gravel pathway.
They went downstairs and opened the front door to challenge the offender.
The offender then punched the victim to the side of the face and ran away.
The offer is described as male, around 5ft10 and he was wearing dark clothing at the time.
The incident took place at around 12.45am and 1.05am on Tuesday, March 22.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident reference number 0020S of March 22.
