THIEVES have smashed car windows to steal two portable DVD players from inside.

The vehicle was parked secure and unattended, in Waterloo Street, and at around 7.30am on Monday, October 24, an alarm was heard.

A passerby called police stating they had seen a vehicle with broken windows parked up.

Thieves used a brick to smash the front driver's window, rear passenger window and attempted to break the offside rear window.

Two portable DVD players were stolen from inside.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident reference number 0107S of October 24.
