THIEVES have stolen a handbag from a house in Kidderminster.
The homeowner was woken by a loud bang at around 1.40am on February 1, and upon investigating found that a side door window of the property, in Birchfield Road, had been smashed.
The unknown offenders had used used a rubber door mat to place over the window and hit it with a hammer taken from insecure shed in the garden.
A handbag and its contents were stolen from inside.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident reference number 0026S of February 1.
