KEEN walkers can take part in a challenge with a difference during a 31-mile dawn till dusk trek from Bewdley.

They can take part in the sponsored walk along the Worcestershire Way trail, starting from the Georgian town and finishing at Malvern Hills.

It has been organised by St Richard’s Hospice, Worcester to raise cash for the charity’s work caring for patients and their families living with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.

Rachel Jones, event organiser said:” Although not for the faint hearted, keen walkers will revel in this opportunity to explore one of the best routes in Britain.

“The way passes through marvellous landscape, studded with copses, streams and woodlands and gives walkers unparalleled views of some of the best countryside that Worcestershire has to offer.”

People interested in taking part in the walk, which will be held on Friday, June 14, can register at strichards.org.uk/worcestershirewaywalk.
