A GROUP of charitable friends collected more than £400 during a fundraising pub crawl in Bewdley.
Julie Hardiman was joined by three of her friends, who began their friendship while in the Scouts, on her annual non-alcoholic crawl to raise money for Children with Cancer UK.
She said: “We have been doing these for a number of years now and more recently in fancy dress for a bit of a laugh.
“This year we collected £414.50 which is the first time we have raised this amount in pub collections alone.”
Julie, who raised the money with her friends Ashleigh Simester, Phil Lewis and Jane Spragg, said she was grateful for the welcome they received from the pubs and the “very generous” clients who donated to the cause.
