The society resumes its activities for 2015 with an exciting programme of talks, visits and demonstrations.

To start events we have our AGM on the February 16, which will be at the Riverside Church in Dog Lane at 7 for a start at 7.30pm.

The AGM will cover the society’s work and finance over the last year and appoint officers for 2015.

Following this brief formality there will be a talk on the “History of Bewdley” to be given by Richard Perrin, chair of Bewdley’s Civic Society.

The monthly meetings are held at the above venue and times on the third Monday of each month.

This year we have an eclectic mix of speakers and talks ranging from shaded gardens, kitchen gardens, herbaceous perennials and creating focal points in gardens.

There will be three shows to exhibit members skills and talents in spring and autumn meetings and of course our Annual Show covering fruit, vegetables, flowers, domestic skills and handicrafts.

There is also a trip to visit a local garden with sub-tropical plantings.

We welcome new members and member’s guests to all meetings.
