On Monday, March 2 was the AGM. 2014 had been a very good year in which we celebrated our 50th Anniversary.
Nigel Wyles was our demonstrator for the evening. His title was “Magic of the musicals”.
His first design was from Oklahoma,”Oh what a beautiful morning” included small sunflowers, mini gerberas and solidago.
“My Fair Lady” was an asymmetrical design with pink mini gerberas and dark pink roses.
The colours in “Brigadoon” reminded us of Scotland’s landscape”and Phantom of the Opera`s design was in rich reds and burgundy colours.
Finally there was a strong design for “Jesus Christ Superstar”.
The next meeting will be held on April 13 at 7.30pm at Wharton Park Golf Club.
