BEWDLEY HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY: The AGM was well attended, and an exciting programme of events was unveiled for the forthcoming year.
The society made a small presentation to Chairman Derek Aston, who stood down after many years of loyal service, as did his wife, Ursula. Diane Chater was also given a token of appreciation for all her work on the committee.
The next talk is by Sue Stone, a local WI judge, who will advise on preparing to enter the craft and domestic classes of the Annual Show. There is a right and a wrong way for everything and hopefully she will give those rookies amongst us courage to have a go. Monday, March 21, 7.30pm at Riverside Church, Dog Lane.
