YOUNG singers, dancers and musicians proved they had talent at a competition at Areley Kings Village Hall.

The Areley Kings Got Talent competition, which is in its second year, saw children aged seven to 12 compete on stage.

The overall winner was announced as solo dancer Alicia Hill, who received top marks from the judges.

She was presented with the Jim Perry trophy, a hamper and a cash prize.

Fifteen talented acts took part and judges were impressed with the enthusiasm and ability of the entrants.

Second prize went to a singers Cerys Jones, Chloe Stewart, Lauren Stewart and Megan Stewart and Matthew Blower came third.

Prizes were also awarded to the best competitors not in the top three and the best seven year olds.

The event was organised by the Friends of Areley Kings Village Hall and was supported by Jim Perry of Londis Store, St Bartholomew’s C of E Primary School, Rotary Printers of Stourport and Vestia Commmunity Trust.
