WYRE Forest MP, Dr Richard Taylor, visited a primary school in Upper Arley to view its £700,000 extension.
He also spoke to the children at Upper Arley CofE Primary School and looked around the building.
The school now has two additional classrooms, a design and technology room and access to a secure outside environment for the youngest children.
Frances French, headteacher, said: “It was a really lovely visit. Dr Taylor said he was impressed with how the school has developed over the years.
The children were very happy to talk to him.”
