A SUMMER fair at a primary school in Astley raised £900 for school funds.
The Astley CE Primary School summer fair was opened by Mayor of Stourport Ken Henderson and included maypole dancing and a drama production by the musical theatre club based on The Lion King.
There were stalls and games on the school field such as a coconut shy, Splat the Rat and wet the team captain as well as pony rides and refreshments.
Organisers said the fair was well attended and the atmosphere was “brilliant.”
