A BEWDLEY version of Question Time will put local politicians and experts on the spot.

Members of the audience will be able to question the high-powered panel on any topical issues or concerns, with well-known Bewdley resident John Iles fulfilling the David Dimbleby role and chairing the discussions.

Wyre Forest MP Mark Garnier, Labour parliamentary candidate Dr Matthew Lamb, archaeologist Dr Suzi Trustram-Eve, editor of The Shuttle Paul Walker and former chief constable of the West Midlands Paul West will all take part in the event.

Mrs Margaret Hill, of the Holy Family Catholic Church, has organised the event and promised “a very lively and entertaining evening”.

Question Time will take place at St George’s Hall on Friday, October 3 at 7.30pm.
