The society ended 2014 with it’s annual dinner, held in St George’s Hall, and attended by 95 members. Beatrice Grant, a great-granddaughter of Stanley Baldwin, gave a fascinating talk about him.
The next lecture is on Tuesday in St George’s Hall at 7.30pm, when Dr David Symons will be talking about The Staffordshire Hoard.
