BEWDLEY CIVIC SOCIETY: The first talk of the New Year is "The real war horse" by Robin Hill. Over the centuries wars were fought with horses playing a crucial role, and the First World War was the last of these. Robin, a senior museum consultant, will tell their story and detail the complex logistical exercise required to keep them healthy, well fed and shod.
The lecture will be held on Tuesday, January 10 at 7.30pm in St George’s Hall, and we welcome non members as always.
