Members spent an enjoyable afternoon at The Vine Inn, Clent for the New Year Lunch.
The 2013 programme is very varied and everyone is welcome to come along.
Georgia Jacobs will be talking about ‘Geology – Minerals, Rocks and Fossils’ at the meeting on Thursday, February 14. Topics in future months include vegetarian meals to cook in minutes, and African costumes and culture. Dr Gillian White returns with a talk on Chatsworth and in April there will be ‘Stunt Dogs’, with folklore, pottery and pantomime dames to follow. The popular craft group is already shaping up a series of new sessions. All are welcome.
