The New Year started off with a talk and slides by John Millington from Hillview Hardy Plants to give us plenty of ideas for our herbaceous borders this summer and how to protect the plants through the worst of the winter. The AGM is on February 12 with Linda Eggins explaining National Plant Collections.
Linda is an active member of Plant Heritage and holds the National Collection of aucubas and her talk is Old Plants, New Plants, Who Cares.
On March 12, Roger Umpleby with his presentation Useful, Beautiful but Unloved.Snowdrop time is here again and anyone wanting to visit Dial Park this year needs to call Olive on 777451 for a private visit.Admission is still £3 per person.
