POLICE are searching for a man who went missing yesterday (Monday) after telling his family he was going for a walk over Clent Hills.

Lyndon Ross has not been seen since leaving his Moorlands Court home at Moorlands Court, Rowley Regis, at 1.30pm and police said his family are “now extremely concerned” for his welfare.

Police are appealing for the public’s help to find the 39-year-old.

Sergeant Ben Dolan said: “It is out of character for Lyndon to go missing like this and as time passes without hearing from him, we are becoming increasingly worried about him."

He is described as white, around 5ft 9in, slim with short, brown hair, wearing a white T-shirt, blue three-quarter length jeans, a grey hooded top and was carrying a black Nike rucksack.

Sgt Dolan added: “Our officers are out searching for Lyndon and we are doing all we can to find him.

“However, it is a large area and we are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen him while out walking on the hills in the last 24 hours."

Anyone who sees Lyndon is asked to contact police immediately on 101 or the charity Missing People can be called on 116 000.
