THE restoration of Hagley Hall’s park and gardens will be the subject of the next meeting of Clent History Society on Thursday, May 21.
The meeting will take place at Clent Parish Hall, in Church Avenue, with Joe Hawkins, head of landscape at the hall, illustrating the extensive work involved in the 18th century.
Carole Hodgson, member of the society, said: “Joe is an absorbing speaker whose enthusiasm for his work is infectious.
“We can guarantee a fascinating evening.”
Non members are welcome to attend the talk, which starts at 8pm, for a fee of £2.50 which includes tea, coffee and biscuits at the end of the evening.
