Clent Mothers’ Union
The February meeting was the open afternoon and again this was a great success, with many invited guests joining us. We were especially pleased to welcome Eileen Bennett to our gathering. Eileen is responsible for the fun quiz. The tea as usual was delicious and our thanks go to those members whose time and generosity were spent in preparing such a feast. Thanks also to Audrey for her lovely table arrangements. It was a very happy afternoon.
The meeting on April 7 will be at 2pm in Clent Parish Hall when our speaker will be Angie Lilly with "Growing Green Fingers".
The May meeting is our annual Coffee Morning. This will be on May 5 at 10am in Clent Parish Hall. This is our main fundraising event in support of the many worthwhile projects maintained by the Mothers’ Union for families less fortunate than ourselves. Donations of cakes, preserves, bric-a-brac etc. would be gratefully received. However we would be delighted if you would be able to come along and support us on the day, enjoy a cup of coffee with us, browse through stalls and maybe pick up a bargain or a delicious cake for your family.
