Branch chairman Jim Hulme will conduct the annual auction sale of harvest produce and other goods on Friday, September 13.
It will take place in The Bell Inn, Lower Street, Cleobury Mortimer.
Donations of goods for sale are being sought. Seasonal produce is particularly welcome, but saleable goods of all types are needed.
Please contact Jim on 01299 270261 or Roger Gittins at The Bell on 01299 270305 if you can help.
Even if you can’t donate anything, do come along and bid.
The auction starts at 8pm, and if past years are any guide, there will be an excellent range of fruit, vegetables, cakes, flowers, wine and many other bargains.
Proceeds from the auction will go to branch funds.
After the auction, the branch’s next event will be a Bowling Day on Saturday, September 21 (for details contact Dave Harley on 01299 271311), and a ukulele concert with fish and chip supper on Friday, October 25.
The branch always welcomes new members. Please ring 01299 270110 for a membership form.
