This year’s Spring Show had a good quantity of entries in each class.

The daffodils and flowering shrubs were superb specimens giving a good display and the perfume in the hall was simply wonderful.

The show winners were: 1 Marion Wilson, 2 Bob Marriott, 3 Val Greenhill. Marion Wilson also won ‘Best Exhibit’.

The quiz was hosted by Keith Taylor with teams from Clows Top, Cleobury and Broadheath. The winners were Broadheath, with Clows Top second and Cleobury third.

The winning team went home with prizes of some summer flowering bulbs for their gardens.

The club would like to express many thanks to Derek Walker for judging the show and to Keith Taylor for compiling and hosting the quiz.

At the meeting on Wednesday, April 25, Jill Franklin will give a talk on ‘Bishop’s Wood Centre’ The club meets on the fourth Wednesday in the calendar month at Clows Top Victory Hall. Doors open at 7.45pm, for the speaker at 8pm.

There are refreshments, a raffle and a plant stall, and non-members are very welcome. Membership, however, costs only £5 a year.
