DEVELOPERS have released new images of a planned housing estate which prompted mass protests in Hagley.
CALA Homes has been given outline permission to build the new homes on a greenfield site on Kidderminster Road despite fierce opposition from residents and the parish council.
People are now being invited to have their say on the 175-home project at a series of workshops which will gather information for CALA Homes as they prepare a detailed planning application for submition in the spring.
Darren Humphreys, regional managing director for CALA Homes, said: βThe workshops are part of our on-going programme of community consultation and provide the opportunity for local people to help shape the kind of scheme they would like to see in Hagley.
"We appreciate that this is a significant development for the village and are committed to keeping local people updated and involved throughout the process. We want to work together to create a development that we can all be proud of.β
Places on the workshops are limited, anyone interested in taking part should register at www.cala.co.uk/hagley by 5pm on Friday February 15.
The workshops will take place on Saturday February 23 and Monday February 25.
CALA Homes has set up a dedicated email address for further information on the site β hagley.info@cala.co.uk
