IT'S 'go, go, go Joseph' this week at Hagley Catholic High School which is staging its own version of the much-loved Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice musical.

Young performers at the Brake Lane school are due to put on their first performance of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat tonight (Wednesday March 26) with further outings set to take place tomorrow (Thursday March 27) and Friday (March 28) at 7pm.

The show - being staged in the school theatre - has been in the making since September 2013.

More than 60 youngsters have been working hard with teachers Lucy Bevan and Mandy Willis to bring to life the colourful production which features the 1991 Jason Donovan hit Any Dream Will Do and which is based on the biblical story of Joseph.
