TWO Hagley businesswomen are celebrating after being nominated for national awards.

Dianne Malanaphy and Emily Leach, co-owners of Rejuvenate, based in Kidderminster, have been shortlisted for the 2015 Professional Beauty Awards.

Not only is the beauty lounge and body-reshaping studio in the running to be named Beauty Salon of the Year, but Emily will also be vying for the title of Therapist of the Year.

The nominations are a credit to the seven strong team's hard work, according to Dianne.

The 44-year-old continued: “We are so proud to reach the finals of the awards. Over the past four years we’ve constantly set high standards for ourselves to make sure we give clients a world-class service, offering the best products and advice.

"For industry experts to recognise that commitment is a fantastic compliment."

But before the finals, which will be held in February, salon staff have to impress a judge and a mystery customer when they visit to score the team on areas including customer service, training and business development.

Emily, aged 24, will also have to travel to London to showcase her treatment techniques to judges during a testing five hour session.

She said: “Being shortlisted among other salons and beauty professionals from all corners of the UK really puts us on the map. It will give us the perfect springboard into 2015.”
