HAGLEY five year old Oscar Robinson enjoyed a VIP trip to see how work was progressing on Birmingham's £500million Paradise regeneration scheme.
Construction crazy Oscar had written to contractors Carillion to ask about the work taking place.
So the company wrote back and invited Oscar, mum Clare and dad Matthew to come and see for themselves.
Oscar was treated to a special look at the construction site and was also presented with some personalised items that included protective equipment, certificate and a toy excavator.
Matthew Robinson said: "Oscar has always been fascinated by construction and demolition. He loves playing with his toy diggers, cranes, bulldozers and dumper trucks. His favourite TV programmes are always about construction projects.
"He saw the work taking place at the Paradise project and wanted to know how they would clear the site.
"He was thrilled to be invited there and loved every minute of his visit!”
