TODDLERS at a Hagley kindergarten pulled on their wellies and grabbed their trowels to plant seeds and bulbs in their newly refurbished garden recently.
The youngsters from Hagley Primary School Kindergarten are now looking forward to seeing their planting project bloom.
Kindergarten manager, Gail Hall said: "During the summer we carried out improvements to our outdoor area which included reclaiming a small, previously unused patch of ground, where the children could enjoy growing flowers and vegetables."
She continued: "We had the funds to carry out the improvements but no further monies to purchase anything to grow in the area."
Staff from Barnett Hill Garden and Leisure in Clent kindly set up shop at the kindergarten recently, allowing children and their parents to purchase bulbs for the garden.
Mrs Hall added: "The shop looked great and as it was set up in our role play area. The children purchased tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, snow drops, alliums, crocus and other spring bulbs.
"During the following week, wellies were donned and the children had great fun planting their purchases, they're now watching and waiting for signs of life."
