A BRIDAL and party fair taking place in Hagley on Monday (July 18) is set to bring in the funds for two worthwhile charities.

Claire Ingram, owner of Worn With Love Bridal, is hosting the event at Hagley Community Centre from 6.30pm until 9.30pm, to raise money for both Kemp Hospice and Breast Cancer Now.

The free evening will feature a variety of exhibitors from wedding and party services as well as a fashion show of bridal and party wear.

Both charities are close to the Hagley businesswoman’s heart, with Kemp being chosen due to the bereavement support the hospice gave her brother, while as a sufferer of breast cancer, Claire knows all too well the help charities such as Breast Cancer Now can give people.

She said: “Since my diagnosis of breast cancer two years ago I have tried and do something to raise money.

“I run a wedding business myself, so I decided that this year I would organise a wedding and party fair in Hagley, with all the money raised going to two worthwhile causes, Breast Cancer Now and Kemp Hospice.

“There is going to be so much going on, we’ve got lots of exhibitors, a fashion show starting at 7.30pm, there will be a prize raffle and there’s also going to be bubbly, Pimms and cake.

“Each exhibitor has already donated £30 to have a stall, and all the takings on the night will be donated straight to the charities.”

Kidderminster-based cause Kemp Hospice provides free of charge support and specialist care to patients, families and carers dealing with life-limiting illness and bereavement.

Claire is urging exhibitors who would like to hold a stall at the event to contact her until Monday, by calling 07812 989552.
