A CLUBBERCISE event in Hagley raised £500 for a Worcestershire children’s charity.

The event, which was held at Haybridge Sports Centre, saw a large number of people turn up to raise funds for Crackerjacks Children’s Trust, who support children with disabilities and their families.

The event was hosted by Matt Raybone and Anneka Howdle from MattekA Fitness.

Mr Raybone said: “Lots of people took part in the event, many of them never having taken part in a Clubbercise class before, which was in the dark using glow sticks and aerobic exercise.

“It was our pleasure to be able to raise £500 for the trust which will be put to very good use and allow the trust to continue its great work for disabled children.”

Amanda Hopkins, Crackerjacks events coordinator, said: “It was such a fun night and I would like to thank all those who participated in the event and especially Matt and Anneka for hosting the event.

“We are very grateful for the amount of money that was raised on the night.”
