Coffee morning as Hartlebury Parish Hall throws open doors

HARTLEBURY villagers who supported a sponsor-a-chair scheme to provide new seating for the parish hall are being invited to view the result.
The chairs will be on display when the hall committee holds a free coffee morning on Saturday, April 14, from 10.30am to noon.
The £10-a-chair sponsorship resulted in more than £2,000 being subscribed within a fortnight. The remainder was used to provide new curtains in the newly-decorated hall.
The coffee morning is open to anyone who wants to see the modernisation carried out as a result of grants from Biffaward and the parish council.
New windows have been fitted and the kitchen has been completely gutted and re-equipped. The central heating has been upgraded and changed to gas. Steps are in hand to modernise the entrance and toilets.
