THE Community Broadcast Channels (The CBC) hosted a special event in Kidderminster to celebrate the launch of their new internet station.
The Sizzle on Summer launch for new station 3CTV, took place at Simply Limitless Wellbeing Centre, in Puxton Lane, and included activities for all the family, such as a barbecue, live bands and theatre.
Featuring programs produced by local residents, the channel will offer various opportunities for the public to get involved.
Ian Southall, managing director, said: “We couldn’t have been more delighted with the turn out on the day.
“So many people from our local community showed their support by coming and sharing our special day with us.”
Sachia Mooney, director of programs, said: “So many people on the day showed an interest in working with us.
“Before the day, our programs had actively involved over 150 people and we are looking forward to seeing this number grow and touching more peoples’ lives.”
