THE first private sector tenant to move into Wyre Forest District Council’s offices has been announced.

Independent chartered accountants DHJH LLP and the district council announced the firm will move into the council’s Finepoint Way building in February 2015.

The recent announcement of Worcestershire Regulatory Services’ move to Wyre Forest House later in the spring means that the space for other partners will be fully let.

Andrew Hartlebury, of DHJH, said: “Wyre Forest House stood out from the competition locally when we decided to sell our existing offices in Bewdley.

“It offers modern and flexible office accommodation, and provides us with the opportunity to use the good range of supporting facilities including meeting rooms and a café.

“It is excellent that the council is working with the private sector in this way to help retain and grow local businesses.”

The company, which was founded in 1985, employs 16 staff and will be renting a total of 193 sq metres at Wyre Forest House.

District councillor Marcus Hart, Leader of the council, said: “I am thrilled that we have attracted this major private sector tenant for Wyre Forest House and I am very pleased that a well-established local company will be able to benefit from the excellent facilities that we have at Wyre Forest House.

“The income that the Council will generate is another clear example of the commercial approach we are following to help fund the essential services which local community’s value.

“We are looking forward to welcoming DHJH colleagues to Wyre Forest House in February.”
