On February 25, Dr Mike Hodder will give a talk entitled The Archaeology of Churches in the Diocese of Birmingham.
He will talk about the below and aboveground archaeology of churches and their surroundings in the Diocese of Birmingham, which includes north Warwickshire, parts of Sandwell, and other adjoining areas as well as Birmingham itself.
Mike has been archaeological advisor to the Birmingham Diocesan Advisory Committee since 1986 and he is currently updating an archaeological assessment of churches in the Diocese which he originally compiled in 1990.
The meeting following will be on Wednesday, March 4 when Paul Hudson will give a talk entitled “Lest We Forget”
about the All Saints Church War Memorial Worcester Meetings of the society start at 7.30pm and are held in St George’s Annexe adjacent to St George’s Church, Radford Avenue - off Coventry Street Kidderminster.
There is a small charge for visitors who are very welcome.
