There was a great turn out on February 9, the ladies of Kinver Women’s Institute came along to learn the mysteries of creating three dimensional objects from a single piece of paper. Origami was the word, Mick Guy was the teacher. We all followed our instructions and came up with a box and a frog to jump into it. your never too old to learn a new skill. Talking of skills we came together again on Wednesday to enjoy our very post Christmas meal at the Con Club in the High Street. We’re all really good at eating, drinking and having a good chat to go with it. Some of our ladies had been walking during the day so had a very good excuse to enjoy!
March will find us being entertained by Ian Bott, with a Magical Midlands Mystery Tour, March 9, 7.30 pm at the Senior Citizen’s Hall, also on the 21st we will be hosting an evening at the KCSA, with Max Keen. Learn all about Alfred the Great and enjoy a fish and chip supper. For tickets contact our web site www.kinvervillagewi.co.uk
