Kidderminster Video Makers, held their annual video competition for Video of the Year there were six entries from winners of competitions held during the year.

“Caretta Caretta” Chairman Paul Bye won the Natural World with this video of his grandson studying on the island where the turtles lay their eggs and hatched.

John Bryan had been to see”Lancaster NX611” which had been restored, This video had won The day out from home competition.

John also won the Holiday competition with his video of a coach holiday in East Berlin.”Poetry and Song! winner Robert Irwin won with a four minute video of the Christmas market in Birmingham to the song “Having a Wonderful Xmas Time”

John also won the Documentary competition with a trip to “Venice” The vice Chairman Bill Every entered the unclassified section with”Discover Bewdley”

The judges Rob Day and Michael Dickens judged awarded Best Use of Sound, and Video of the Year to “Discover Bewdley”. Best Use of Camcorder went to John Bryan.

The club meets in the Catholic Hall, Kidderminster. The next meeting on Thursday, April 2, will be the AGM.

Meetings after that, will start again in September.
