AN AMATEUR theatre company in Kinver will be performing Neil Simon’s London Suite in late June.

New Kinver Players are staging four performances of the show – a series of four short comedies – at the Edward Marsh Centre from Wednesday June 24 to Saturday June 27 at 7.30pm.

The play, which is set in a deluxe London hotel, tells the tales of four separate stories which all take place in the same suite.

In ‘Settling Accounts’ the suite is occupied by a writer who is holding his long time business manager at gun point and that is followed by ‘Going Home’, where an American widow and her daughter visit England to buy shoes.

The third play ‘Diane and Sydney’ sees Diana, an Oscar winning actress, and Sidney, her divorced bisexual husband meet each other for the first time in years, while the final short ‘The Man on the Floor’ features a married couple from Los Angeles who have lost their tickets to Wimbledon.

Tickets for the play, which cost £9 or £7 for over 60s, are available by visiting www.newkinverplayers.org.uk

They can also be bought from Omnipresent, in High Street, Kinver, by phoning 01384 877746 or visiting the shop between 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Saturday.
