ROYAL BRITISH LEGION: At the legion meeting held on March 29, members were informed that the Easter raffle had raised £85 for the Poppy Appeal.This had been a very good effort and thank you for all those who supported it.
Prize winners were, 1st A handmade felted Poppy cushion Peter Dunn; 2nd Royal Jelly indulgent Andy; 3rd A purse Joy Collins; 4th Clown Dog, Ann Painter; 5th make up case, Ruth.
The next meeting will be held on April 26 at ARC (The Shrubbery) Birmingham Road at 7pm. New members and visitors welcome.
