KIDDERMINSTER CHORAL SOCIETY: On July 2, the Summer Singers of Kidderminster Choral Society will give a performance of favourite light opera, including Trial By Jury by WS Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan, and excerpts from The Merry Widow by Franz Lehar and Die Fledermaus by Johann Strauss.
The concert entitled Trial By Jury takes place at All Saints Church, Kidderminster Road, Wribbenhall, Bewdley, starting at 7.30pm.
Conducted by Geoff Weaver, the Summer Singers will be joined by soloists Catherine Fish and Russell Painter, with accompaniment from Mike Elden at the piano.
This will be a delightful evening of Viennese operetta and the evergreen satire of Gilbert and Sullivan.
