VILLAGERS in Kinver are being asked to support McCarthy and Stone’s Christmas charity campaign to spread festive cheer to a Birmingham hospice.

The retirement housebuilder is calling on staff, homeowners and the general public to buy an extra present while Christmas shopping this year to donate to Birmingham St Mary's Hospice.

Anyone wishing to take part in the gift appeal can drop off presents at Lowestone Court in Stone Lane, Kinver.

Robert Monkman, regional sales and marketing director at McCarthy and Stone West Midlands, said: “Community truly is at the heart of everything we do here at McCarthy and Stone, and it’s a pleasure to provide this much-needed support throughout the festive season to Birmingham St Mary's Hospice.”

Laura Rollason, community fundraiser at Birmingham St Mary's Hospice, added: “We are delighted to have the support of McCarthy and Stone this Christmas.

"Having presents to open and enjoy will bring fantastic amounts of festive cheer the people who use Birmingham St Mary's Hospice."
