KIDDERMINSTER SOROPTIMISTS: After a very enjoyable and well attended Christmas meal when a sizeable number of ‘Soroptimisters’ joined us this year and with all the Christmas and New Year’s celebrations now behind us, we began 2017 with the regular business meeting not on the first Thursday as usual, which due to unavoidable absences and illnesses had to be cancelled but on the second Thursday starting at 7.30 pm at the Baxter Church Rooms, Kidderminster. The next business meeting will be on February 2, same time - same venue.
The January supper meeting takes place tonight, January 18 (6.30 for a prompt 7pm start at La Brasserie, Kidderminster). Lorrie Napier will talk on Kindertransport.
Visitors are welcome to any of the meetings. Soroptimist International is open to all women as from the age of 18.
