THE Vélo Birmingham cycle ride swept into Kinver and received a warm welcome from villagers lining the streets.

Potter's Cross echoed to the sounds of cheering and cow bells before riders made their way along the High Street where crowds cheered and waved.

Vélo rider Andy Merrick said: "Its a good atmosophere with loads of people giving us support.
"Kinver is by miles the best reaction, its a good turnout, especially at the top of the climb.
"There has been a good atmoshpere among the riders, there was a bit of a delay this morning but it has been really good."
