HOLY Trinity School pupils are top of the class after their students have retained a 100 per cent pass rate in their GCSEs.

The Kidderminster school saw 94 per cent of students achieve five A* to C grades including 51 per cent of learners gaining A* and A grades.

The percentage of students who were awarded at least five A*, A or B grades stood at 81 per cent.

In the battle of the departments, art and textiles came out on top, with 100 per cent of students achieving an A*, A or B grade and 80 per cent getting an A* or A.

Of the students taking their music GCSE two years early, 100 per cent of pupils being awarded an A* to C grade including 41 per cent with an A*, A or B.

The school’s top performers were Alexa Wittkop, who achieved 11 A* and two A grades, Jenny Bateman, who secured nine A* and three A grades, and Lucy Moles, who attained six A*and three A grades.

Headteacher, Pam Leek-Wright, said: “We are delighted for all our students who have gained such outstanding results.

“We congratulate each and every one of them, and their personal achievements are positive testament to the dedication and hard work of both students and our staff.”
