ENERGY experts will be offering free advice to Wyre Forest residents on all energy related matters during a surgery at Kidderminster Town Hall.

Act On Energy will be at the Kidderminster Hub on Thursday, October 16, between 10am and 1pm where an advisor will offer impartial advice on how to save energy at home and reduce energy bills.

Wyre Forest District Councillor Anne Hingley, said: “These free advice sessions offer people the chance to find out about ways to cut their energy bills, such as through installing insulation and by making sure they’re on the best tariff.

“In a typical British home, one third of the heat produced by central heating systems is lost through the roof, walls and windows, meaning that in a poorly insulated home, £1 out of every £3 spent is wasted.”

Further energy advice surgeries will be held on Thursday, November 13 and Thursday, December 18.

Residents wishing to attend an energy advice surgery can either drop in on the day, or book with Act on Energy by calling 0800 988 2881.
