SPOOKY events will be taking place at Wyre Forest Glades Leisure Centre on Wednesday (October 29) during its annual Halloween party.
Between 10.30am and 12.30pm, the arena will feature a fun-filled festivity of soft inflatable play equipment, a bouncy castle, fancy dress competition, face painting, and a pumpkin carving competition.
Helen Turley, childcare co-ordinator, said: “We are hoping that this year’s event will be bigger and better than ever before.
“We have lots of spooky decorations, lights and a smoke machine which will all add to the effect.
“The children in our crèche are really looking forward to it.”
For children under 5-years-old, the event will also include Halloween activities and games where prizes can be won, as well as refreshments.
Amanda Davies, whose son Evan is a member of the centre’s crèche, said he is really excited about the party.
“Evan has picked his outfit already and he will be a skeleton for the day,” she said.
“The party is also a great opportunity for me to socialise with other local mums and dads.”
Entry to the party costs £3 per child for non-members and £1.50 per child for members. Parental supervision is required at all times.
